Sudie L. Williams TAG - Miles for Music

Today marks my first 2024-2025 semester school appearance for my non profit Miles for Music! I visited Sudie L. Williams TAG to visit their 4th and 5th graders to read my books and play the classical piano for them on this wonderful September morning.

They loved hearing different types of poems such as my figure skating poem or my poem about my three pets, as well as poems about never giving up and loving your family. I also spoke about my children's book, Confident Cupcake, where they loved how Sprinkles expresses herself through colors.

When I switched to the piano, the kids were amazed! I even had a few students that were brave enough to ask to play the piano for me!

I cannot wait to visit many more schools this following year, my goal is to reach as many Dallas ISD elementary schools as possible to share my non profit program and continue to show how important classical music education is and its impact on our daily lives.
