Austin Elementary was my second-to-last school visit of the spring semester, making this trip an especially meaningful one!
I started an early morning adventure to make my way to Abilene and spend the day with the incredible students at Austin Elementary. As the school year begins to wind down, I find myself appreciating every visit even more. With just one school visit left before the spring semester comes to a close, each opportunity to share Miles for Music feels extra special.
It was such a joy spending time with the students, sharing music, stories, and the importance of creative self-expression. Their enthusiasm and participation made for a wonderful visit and a memorable first experience in Abilene ISD.
A huge thank you to Mrs. Herrington for making this visit possible and for welcoming me to my very first Abilene ISD school. I am so grateful for the kindness and support shown throughout the day.
As Miles for Music prepares for a few summer programs and a new chapter alongside college, I am cherishing moments like these more than ever. I can't wait to see where the music takes us next!
