Stevens Park Elementary

Today was such a special day for Miles for Music—we officially reached over 15,200 students across Texas! This milestone happened during my long-awaited visit to Stevens Park Elementary, a school I’ve been hoping to visit since last October. Over the past year, I’ve had the joy of staying in touch with the incredible Mrs. Hamby as we found the perfect time to make this day possible.

Walking into the Stevens Park auditorium, I felt an immediate energy—one filled with excitement, creativity, and joy. Sharing the message of Miles for Music with these students and talking about the power of confidence and self-expression reminded me why I began this journey in the first place. The smiles, laughter, and thoughtful conversations throughout the day made this milestone even more meaningful.

I am so grateful to Mrs. Hamby and the entire Stevens Park team for welcoming me with open arms and for creating a space where creativity thrives. This visit will stay close to my heart, and I can’t wait to see where the music takes us next!
