Sherley Elementary

Today was such a special milestone for Miles for Music—I had the joy of visiting Sherley Elementary, my very first Anna ISD campus! Even with Thanksgiving break just around the corner, the students brought so much energy, curiosity, and heart into the room. Their excitement reminded me exactly why I love doing what I do.

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by everyone, and the students jumped right into the stories, music, and interactive moments. Watching them light up as we talked about resilience, confidence, and believing in their own potential was truly inspiring. These kids have such bright futures, and it was an honor to spend the morning encouraging them through the arts.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Moran for inviting me and making this visit possible. Your support means the world, and I’m so grateful you chose to bring Miles for Music to your campus. Sherley Elementary, thank you for being such an incredible audience and for giving me the perfect welcome to my time in Anna ISD. I’m already excited to hopefully come back and see more of your amazing schools! I can't wait to see where the music takes us next!
