One of the highlights of my year with Miles for Music was welcoming CBS News Texas to join me during a school visit at Lagow Elementary. Reporter Trevor and the CBS News Texas team spent the morning capturing the impact of music, storytelling, and creative expression as we connected with students and shared the mission behind Miles for Music.
It was a surreal experience to see the program I started inspired by my sister Ellie featured on television and to have the opportunity to share how Miles for Music has grown to reach students across Texas. I am incredibly grateful to CBS News Texas, Lagow Elementary, and everyone who has supported this journey.
