As the year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible journey Miles for Music has taken me on. In just over a year, what started as a dream to bring classical music and emotional expression to children has now already reached over 5,000 kids! But why stop there? My goal is to reach 20,000 kids by the end of 2025—and I’m determined to hit that milestone before the year even ends.
Through our interactive school programs, we’re making classical music come alive in fun, engaging ways. Kids are discovering the power of music to express their emotions and build confidence. With the support of incredible partners like Maestro Bruno from Piano Gallery and Casio Music Gears, we’re also donating 12 digital pianos to 12 Dallas ISD schools in need. These pianos will help even more children explore their creativity and express themselves through music—regardless of their background.
Looking ahead to 2025, I’m filled with excitement for what’s to come. I’ll be visiting more schools, as well as other facilities, and collaborating with the community to provide even more opportunities for kids to experience the magic of music. The journey is just beginning, and I can’t wait to see where it leads.
Every day, I’m inspired by the children I meet—their excitement for music and the way they open up through creative expression. It’s a reminder that music is more than just notes and rhythms; it’s a powerful tool for self-discovery and emotional growth. I’m committed to reaching as many children as possible, empowering them to explore their unique voices and gain confidence through music. Together, we can make sure every child has access to the transformative power of music education.
As we are nearing the end of the holiday season, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported Miles for Music so far. Wishing you all a joyful holiday season, safe travels, and a new year full of growth and creativity.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
