The 5th Stop on My Dallas ISD Tour!

What a day at Hooe Elementary!

This was my fifth visit in the 12-school Dallas ISD series, and honestly, I’m still smiling from all the joy and curiosity I encountered. From Pre-K to 5th grade, every student brought such a unique energy to my presentation. Their questions? Absolutely unforgettable! I went from talking about my favorite classical composers to walking step-by-step through my spicy dumpling soup recipe, now that’s range.

While I can’t share all the amazing photos due to Hooe’s strict release policy, I can say this: the students’ bright eyes and brilliant questions made a lasting impression.

And now, a HUGE milestone for Miles for Music...We’ve officially grown from 7,809 students reached to 8,154! That’s over 300 more young minds impacted just this week! I’m so grateful for the support and enthusiasm from every educator, administrator, and student that helps make this possible.

But we're not stopping there. I want to keep this number growing. Why? Because music is more than sound—it's self-expression, confidence, and connection. And every student deserves the chance to experience that.
