What a joyful day at Kiest Elementary School sharing Miles for Music! From the moment I walked in, the energy was high and the creativity was flowing. The students were fully engaged, singing, imagining, responding, and bringing their own spark to every moment.
One of the sweetest highlights came at the end of 3rd grade specials. A thoughtful student named Nayla surprised me with her own drawings of the “Happy” and “Royalty” Emotion Sprinkles.
She created them while I was reading Confident Cupcake, and seeing how the story inspired her imagination was incredibly touching. It’s moments like that, when students take an idea and make it their own, that remind me why I love sharing these experiences.
The entire day was filled with amazing energy, bright smiles, and genuine enthusiasm for music and storytelling. I’m so grateful to Mr. Rodriguez for the opportunity and for welcoming me so warmly into the Kiest community.
Days like this make the journey so meaningful, and I can’t wait to see where the music takes us next!
