Lee Elementary

Right before fall break, I had the joy of visiting Lee Elementary to bring Miles for Music to the amazing Lee Lions! 

From the moment I walked into the classroom, the students’ energy and excitement filled the room. Together, we sang, played games, and explored how music can help us express our feelings—whether we’re feeling happy, calm, or even a little bit silly! It was inspiring to see so many young students using creativity as their superpower.

One of my favorite parts of the visit was watching everyone light up as they discovered how music can tell our stories. Whether it’s through rhythm, melody, or movement, every student found their own way to connect and share a piece of who they are. That’s exactly what Miles for Music is all about—helping every child find confidence and joy through creative expression.

A huge thank-you to Mrs. Flores for inviting me and for all the work she does to nurture a love of music at Lee Elementary. Your dedication makes a lasting difference in your students’ lives!
