Lagow Elementary

Lagow Elementary was easily one of the most memorable Miles for Music visits of the year—and not just because of the incredible students and staff. I also had some very special guests along for the morning as I performed and shared the mission behind Miles for Music.

A huge thank you to CBS News Texas and Trevor for spending the day with us and capturing the experience. It was such a surreal moment seeing a news crew follow along as we shared music, storytelling, and the message that every student's passions matter. If you had told me a few years ago that a news station would spend the day covering Miles for Music, I never would have believed you.

Thank you to Dr. White for welcoming me to Lagow Elementary and for supporting opportunities that bring music, creativity, and encouragement to students. I am so grateful for the kindness of the staff and the enthusiasm of the students who made the morning so special.

As Miles for Music continues to grow and reach more students across Texas, I am constantly reminded of why I started this journey in the first place. Every school visit, every performance, and every conversation reinforces the power of confidence and creative expression.

I can't wait to see where the music takes us next!
