Dorsey Leadership Academy – School 7 of 12

I still can't believe I'm saying this, but after today's incredible visit to Dorsey Leadership Academy, Miles for Music has officially reached 9,252 students in just seven months.

Thank you to Ms. Sosa for giving me the chance to share the magic of music with your amazing Pre-K through 5th grade Wildcats. The students were so engaged and full of curiosity—it was truly a special experience.

As always, I performed a mix of classical and modern music. One of the most meaningful moments came when I played "Golden Hour" to show how classical instruments are still woven into the music we love today. Watching the kids sing along so beautifully with the piano never gets old. Their joy, their voices—it’s exactly why I do what I do.

Before I left, a group of students suggested I learn a brand new hit called "Die with a Smile" by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. I can't wait to give it a listen and maybe even add it to the next set!
