Hairgrove Elementary

This week’s stop took me farther than ever before — all the way to Hairgrove Elementary in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD! It was my longest Miles for Music trip yet, and it couldn’t have been a more meaningful visit to mark the journey so far.

From the moment I met the Hairgrove Dolphins, their curiosity and enthusiasm filled every session. Whether we were exploring how stories and melodies connect or finding new ways to express creativity, their excitement reminded me exactly why I started this mission.

With this visit, I’ve now traveled more than 8,300 miles across Texas, sharing music and storytelling with 25,000 students in the past year. Every mile has carried laughter, inspiration, and the reminder that creativity connects us all — no matter where we come from.

Thank you, Hairgrove Elementary, for such a special first visit to Cypress. You turned a long trip into an unforgettable experience filled with joy, learning, and music. I can’t wait to see where the music takes us next!
