Degan Elementary

My first Miles for Music visit in Lewisville ISD took flight with the incredible Degan Elementary Eagles — and what an inspiring start it was. From the moment I walked in, their excitement filled the room. Every class brought such curiosity, creativity, and joy to our time together, reminding me why I love sharing the power of music with students across Texas.

A heartfelt thank-you to Mrs. Wilson for such a warm welcome and for helping make this visit truly unforgettable. Watching these students explore how music connects to confidence, storytelling, and imagination was the best way to begin this new chapter of visits.

Our Miles for Music adventures start back up next week, and I can’t wait to see where the music takes us next!
