Some school visits require a very early start, and River Place Elementary was one of them! After a 3:30 A.M. wake-up call and a road trip to Leander, I had the opportunity to spend the day with the amazing Titans at River Place Elementary School.
One of my favorite things about Miles for Music is that every school has its own unique personality. From the moment I arrived, the Titans brought incredible energy, enthusiasm, and school pride. They were loud when it was time to cheer, but they were also thoughtful, engaged, and eager to participate throughout the program.
It was such a joy sharing the message of Miles for Music and encouraging students to embrace their passions, build confidence, and discover the power of creative expression. The conversations and interactions throughout the day were a great reminder of why I love visiting schools across Texas.
A special thank you to Mrs. Simpson for welcoming me to your wonderful campus and for creating opportunities that encourage and inspire students each day.
I am so grateful for the warm welcome from the River Place Elementary community, and I can't wait to see where the music takes us next!
